Where can I get some cheap Christmas cards?

It’s a question a few of us ask ourselves each year, and the answer isn’t way off in a far reaching suburb of Sydney.

The Blaxland Day ‘n’ Night Pharmacy has all that and more leading up to the festive break, including a huge selection of Christmas gear, such as one dollar Christmas cards – a rarity in the mountains.

Jenna Milne, from the pharmacy, said coming to the store can make a difference as people are still a bit uncertain of traipsing down to Penrith for their shopping, “For people who are still a little bit wary of travelling too far afield, we’ve got a tonne of Christmas stuff,” she said. “There’s tree decorations, wrapping paper, Australiana-Christmas themed products, like oven mitts, tea towels, socks, mugs, and everything in between.”

The Blaxland Day ‘n’ Night Pharmacy have some great holiday-themed homeware items too, like fluffy reindeers, Santa shelf decorations, and big light up stars. There is also an array of some great gift ideas that are up for grabs as they house a massive range of home and gift wares for all ages. Pop in and you will see succulent pots, glassware, serving boards, early learning games, wooden toys, big Australiana prints, big maps of the world and much more – not just your average pharmacy.

Candle and diffuser company Peppermint Grove also make an appearance in store with their gold Christmas-themed range on the shelves. The pharmacy gets new stuff all the time, so it might pay to get in quick before popular items like these fly off the shelves.

Now you won’t just get that essential shopping done there, but you’ll also be supporting a business who really goes all out in giving back to the community. They regularly promote good health through financing local sports clubs and supporting great causes like the Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon campaign. And the love starts in the shop, as they foster and enjoy a ‘family environment’ within their small close-knit team.

Soon you will be able to experience more convenience as they are putting together their long-awaited e-commerce platform, where their entire range of stock will be available for online purchase and delivery - check out their Instagram account for updates.

So, to keep yourself shopping local with reasonable prices, duck into the Blaxland Day ‘n’ right here in the mountains.
