In a country as beautiful as ours, it’s important to see it prosper and remain environmentally friendly, not just for the future prosperity of the land and our future generations, but to also care for our native fauna and wildlife. Clean Up Australia Limited is a not-for-profit Australian environmental conservation organisation founded by Australians Ian Kiernan and Kim McKay in 1989. Clean up Australia Day gives us the best chance at maintaining the health and safety of our land and us as its inhabitants. Blue Mountains residents know better than anyone the importance of banding together to reach a common goal. And our goal on this day and everyday is to ensure we eliminate biohazardous waste and respect the land we live in.

To become an active eco friendly representative of this community, take charge in the lead of the clean up in our various suburbs today. From the upper Mountains in Blackheath and Mount Tomah, through to Katoomba and Leura and all the way down to Lawson, Hazelbrooke and Springwood, community members and council alike will be cleaning up Australia on the first Sunday of March 2021.

It’s time to slip slop slap that sunscreen on, bring out that sunvisor, pop those gloves on and get to work. Make The Blue Mountains communities a standout this year with the way our community will sparkle and shine and clean up the Blue Mountains this Sunday the 7th of March. For we have the whole world in our hands.
