As much as a night out on the town sounds appealing, the likelihood of going out with kids in this cold weather over the weekend isn’t likely going to work. Especially with the threat of cold and flu season coming into full effect, it’s time to plan indoor activities that will keep the kids entertained and a weekend that you will remember forever. Who says we couldn’t catch up with family members and relatives in the comfort of our own home? But what can we do that we will all enjoy this weekend? Simply read ahead.

Tye dye Party

Bring a splash of colour back into the world this Winter and let your creative spirit run free. The best thing about dying a few old white shirts is that you can use household items.
Step 1: Soak in Vinegar.
Step 2: Choose Your Tie Dye Design.
Step 3: Make Your Food Coloring Tie Dye.
Step 4: Tie Dye Your Design!
Step 5: Wrap Your Tie Dye Design.
Step 6: Set the Tie Dye with Salt Water Mixture.
Step 7: Wash Your Newly Dyed Item!

You could have a whole new wardrobe by the end of the day.

Have a family Barbeque

Get the family together and fire up the grill. It’s time to pour a glass of wine, toss a salad and sit in the garden near your fire pits and outdoor heaters of course.

Bring your social life to your backyard, play a game of cricket and watch the kids run around with their cousins as you catch up after many months apart self-isolating. Catching up with family, wearing comfortable clothes to dance in, eat in and feel like your authentic self in, is the perfect reason to have a family barbeque this weekend with your nearest and dearest. Whilst this is a fun concept, we must also align ourselves with the current rules that see a maximum of 5 guests per home.
